Lose the Alarm

No more going to bed dreading that you have to wake up each morning and go into the office. No more jarring alarm to wake you up.  In fact, let the beautiful sunrise be your natural alarm and awaken with the morning light as it streams through your window. What a way to start your day!

One of the biggest contributors to insomnia is knowing that you have to get up at a certain time; plus, the fear that you will not hear your alarm. It doesn’t necessarily make sense, but the reality is that when you focus on “how little time you have to sleep,” worry and panic set in – especially as the hours pass and you are still awake.

Now that you are working at home as your own boss, you can take a nice, leisurely bath before bed, enjoy some light reading, and forget about the alarm clock.

We do recommend that you get into a routine (whatever works for you) and stick to it.  Disciplined focus and regular work hours  are both significant factors that contribute to success.

Choose Your Hours

You hours can be whatever you choose:  6 to 3 – 7 to 4 – 8 – 5 . . .  or if you are not a morning person, shift down.  10 to 7 – 11 to 8. Go with your internal clock and enjoy the change.

You no longer have to go to bed at 8:00 p.m. in order to get up at 5 or 6 when you are not a morning person. Your lifestyle can finally be YOUR lifestyle of choice.

There is always flexibility when you need it. Occasionally you may be completely exhausted or ill and needed a little extra sleep. Now, you can give your body the extra rest it needs without asking anyone. You are the boss.

You can even work from the comfort of your own bed if that is your style! Prop yourself up among some fluffy, comfortable pillows, nestled under a warm, soft blanket, and use your laptop to run your business.

The best thing and main point to remember is this: You Are Free to “Do It Your Way”

Take Care of Yourself and Grow Your Business

bigstock-Man-comfortably-sleeping-in-hi-15694625You can work at your own pace, set your own hours – stay up late, sleep late, eat when you want, and more. HOWEVER, you must be disciplined and focused to be successful.

You should have daily goals and do you best to reach them. Be dutiful enough and loyal enough to yourself (and your business) to accomplish what you want to accomplish. Then, you will be able to take care of yourself and grow your business at the same time.
